Greetings from Johannesburg, South Africa. Although I have a doctorate in psychotherapy, my main passion is advocating for nonhuman animal rights. I condemn all cruelty to nonhuman animals and therefore follow a vegan lifestyle. I would like to connect with other animal activists from all over the world. The fur trade is one of the most abhorrent practices on this planet. Innocent animals are subjected to prolonged suffering for a trivial fashion item. As the chairperson of Fur Free SA. we campaign towards ending the global fur industry. This might not happen in my lifetime, but even if I leave one footprint behind, that is one step closer to the goal. This blog is a forum to discuss all aspects of the fur industry. It also raises issues around animal activism in general. Johannesburg is a crazy city and I need to escape from time to time. This photo was taken next to the magnificent Zambezi river.

ME ~ THE ACCUSED

Although I sat in the dock for the whole day, the trial did not finish and was postponed to March 4th.

The pre-court protest, ANIMAL ACTIVISTS WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED, was powerful.

THANK YOU ANIMAL WARRIORS FOR UNITING!

No introductions of course, as I would have recognised you from your long red hair 😉

Seriously, though, your support from the cloud means a lot to me.

      Warm wishes,

How awful the trail not finishing, really not fair at all. Have they no concern as to how you must be feeling having to wait a whole month. You‘re very brave to make a stand for what is right. I find it incredible that a simple misdemeanour – from their perspective – has gone to trail! A tail for a minor offence is ridiculous, what a waste of public money besides anything else. Time to put the real criminals on trail, namely those who harm and exploit animals for their furs. Best of luck in March. Nice to see you have a lot of support.
