Earlier this year, Fur Free South Africa found rabbit fur pet toys being sold as synthetic toys.
Cat and dog fur is often used for novelty items, as well.
To raise awareness about this despicable industry, FFSA started a What The Fur campaign on social media.
People send in photos of their fur children ~ cats, dogs, rabbits and so on ~ which FFSA then captions. Here are some of the pics:

candidates made an impressive anti-fur statement.
This Austrian reality show is a chance for a number of people to compete for the title of Austria’s Next Top Model.
Bianca, one of the candidates, dropped her fox fur coat in a fashion show of the Most Famous Austrian fur designer in Vienna, and walked almost in the nude as a protest.

World Animal Day is celebrated in different ways across the world on October 4th .
As part of World Animal Day activists held an anti-fur “Animals are not clothes” protest near a fur clothing store in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Sadly, huge quantities of animal fur is sold in the Ukraine.
A Fur Expo is to be held from October 14th – 17th 2015 in Ukraine.
This was initiated by the Fur Farming and Hunting Industry. There are 100 organisers of the show including trade and auction organisations, fur suppliers and fur related publications, educational institutions and associations.

Haberdashery and Fur Components.
Fur garments, garments with fur elements, fur head-wear, accessories, and fur decorative materials.
